"Almost identical to the WWII production of this phone, these are post war dating mostly from 1957 to 1966 and newer. The original WWII was introduced as the Model 1933 phone, these are similar but missing some original markings and the case varies slightly. Comes in a bakelite case with a crank handle that conveniently folds into the case to prevent damage to the crank. Operates with the use of two D cell batteries (not included). Electrical circuit schematics on the inside of the lid. Although these phones appear to be complete, this is a novelty and collectible item sold untested. This item appears to be as described, however we do not warrant its functionality."
