"These Plastrons or French Scarves were worn by the French Military. They are a broad piece of material placed on the chest of certain military uniforms and held in place around the neck with hook and loop. Plastrons were usually in contrasting colors to the coats that were worn. Although they came into this world as a scarf, we saw multiple uses for this item, and everybody should have 10 hanging in there garage. These would be terrific to use as safety flags to attach to an oversized load (kayaks or lumber etc.). Also great to play “capture the flag” for paintball or many other activities.
